VISUAL INSPECTIONS

A Sandford Group technician will perform a visual inspection that includes a thorough examination of the appliance, socket, plug and flexible supply cable.

Guards and covers are examined to make sure they are fastened, and appliances are inspected for rattles, which could be a sign of tiny foreign objects interfering with the appliance’s safety

TESTING

AS/NZS 3760:2022 mandates that the relevant equipment undergo the following electrical testing.

* Earth resistance test

* Leakage Current Test

* Insulation Resistance test

* Polarity test
